Convention Center Scan and Model

TrueScan was contacted by the team at the Columbus Convention Center to provide spatial insights to assist with a renovation of two large, expansive ballrooms. TrueScan provided 3D laser scanning services of the room itself as well as above the tall drop ceilings. These services were necessary in order to locate and understand all existing mechanical and structural elements and the implications they had before a new design could be put in place. Once these scans were completed and the data was examined. TrueScan provided the Convention Center design team with a comprehensive and detailed Revit model that served as the starting reference point for the new designs.
