TrueScan provided 3D laser scanning and Scan-to-BIM services for a complex renovation at Nippert Stadium, home of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats.
The design team needed to install new structural foundation components through the existing seating deck while minimizing conflicts with existing structural elements and mechanical systems. TrueScan documented and modeled the areas below the stadium seating to support that coordination.

The renovation required new structural foundation components to pass through the existing seating deck.
The design team needed accurate information about the structure and mechanical systems below the seating so new components could be positioned with minimal interference.
TrueScan spent three days laser scanning the areas beneath the stadium seating.
Once the data was registered, the team used it to create a detailed point cloud and Revit models showing the existing conditions that affected foundation placement.
The architecture team received accurate spatial information for coordinating the new structural foundation components around existing building systems.
