TrueScan was contracted by the University of the District of Columbia to provide 3D laser scanning expertise on UDC’s new student center and clock tower project. The new student center at the university was to act as a gateway to the campus and the signature feature of the building was going to be the iconic, new clock tower. The TrueScan team scanned the existing open steel structure of the clock tower to document the exact, real-time physical conditions of the structure. The valuable information TrueScan provided aided in the pre-fabrication process of the cladding and glazing systems for the building.
