Historic Downtown Building Laser Scanning Project in the Midwest

TrueScan provided 3D laser scanning services for a historic 19-story urban building in the Midwest undergoing a change in use.

The design team needed complete and accurate existing-conditions documentation before beginning design work. TrueScan deployed two scanning crews for approximately two weeks and collected about 1,000 scans across the building.

The building was being prepared for a change in use, which made accurate documentation especially important before design work began.
